Ms Enqi Weng
Enqi (pronounce as ‘En-chi’) Weng is currently completing her PhD from the School of Media & Communications at RMIT University. Her research examined religious changes in Australia through the media, and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Q&A discussion program was used as its media subject. She is a contributor on ‘Religion on an Ordinary Day’, a cross-national comparative project that compares religious diversity in newspapers across four major cities.
Previously she completed her MA in Global Media Communications at the University of Melbourne. Originally from Singapore, she’s had seven years of industry experience (entry to mid-management) in marketing communications working with commercial and not-for-profit organisations.
Her research interests are: media and religion; religion and cultural diversity; and digital media and political changes in Singapore.
