Dr Kim Lam
Dr Kim Lam is an Associate Research Fellow for the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Diversity and Social Justice. She received her PhD from Monash University (2017), and has worked in research, teaching and editorial assistant roles at several Australian universities since graduating. Her PhD thesis developed an approach to conceptualising Buddhist youth identity, focusing particularly on religious socialisation, belonging and civic and political participation. Kim’s other research interests include youth studies, mobilities, intercultural relations and frameworks for managing cultural diversity.
