Professor Fethi Mansouri was thrilled to host the UNESCO Oration 2025 on 29 September. The Orator for this year was Daniela Gavshon, Australian Director at human Rights Watch.
Gavshon spoke to a capacity audience on the timely topic of ‘Making the Most of Middle Power Status: Australia, Human Rights and a Changing World.’
Founded in 2013 when Fethi started his role as Chairholder, the UNESCO Chair Oration is a significant annual public lecture delivered by a pre-eminent leader, advocate and/or thinker in matters related to social justice, cultural diversity and human rights. This marks the ninth oration in the series.
