New survey circulated by Professor Fethi Mansouri
The project involves community groups and organisations in Tunisia that work in advocacy and service provision within disadvantaged areas. The project aims to build the capacity of the NGO sector in post-Arab-spring Tunisia to interfere in less developed areas with a view of redressing entrenched social inequalities and regional disparities.
Using both primary and secondary data as well as targeted capacity-building workshops, the project aims to address the challenges NGOs face in marginalised areas in Tunisia that have suffered from cumulative and multiple forms of disadvantage.
This survey is a critical part of this project and will contribute to a more nuanced understanding of the NGO landscape in Tunisia in relation to social justice and equitable regional development.
