Routledge Publishers have endorsed a new book series, the Routledge Series on Life and Values Education (RSVLE). The purpose of the new Series is to explore the way religious and spiritual dimensions of life are adopted, integrated and practiced by schools and their communities. By so doing, it seeks to highlight an important and too often neglected dimension of life and living.
Professor Fethi Mansouri, Director of the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation and UNESCO Chair for Comparative Research in Cultural Diversity and Social Justice, has been invited to be a member of the RSVLE Editorial Board. Professor Mansouri brings to the role extensive academic and research experience in the field of religion, migration, interculturalism, and multiculturalism.
Whilst there is an initial focus on Asia, the RSVLE Series (co-edited by John Chi-Kin Lee, UNESCO Chair in Regional Education Development and Lifelong Learning, and Kerry Kennedy) will be developed with cross cultural exemplars and experiences making an important contribution.
