Natalia Pereira welcomed to the UNESCO Chair team
Natalia Pereira has be awarded a PhD scholarship by the UNESCO Chair, Cultural Diversity and Social Justice. Under the the supervision of Alfred Deakin Professor Fethi Mansouri, Natalia’s PhD is tentatively titled Irregular Migration in the Southeast Asian Region
Natalia has a Masters of International Development from La Trobe University and a Postgraduate Degree in Social Work from RMIT University. Prior to commencing her PhD, Natalia worked extensively with the United Nations Development Programme Pacific Centre in Fiji as a crisis prevention and recovery specialist. She has also worked with UNESCO in Samoa developing programs for pacific youth.
